I have been away, but I am back! So here is a green tip for the day: Take your empty plastic gallon milk carton and cut about 1/3 of the front side off. The side opposite the handle. Place it near your kitchen sink and throw all your veggie & fruit trimmings and scraps in it. It becomes a great green waste container that you can either dispose of in the proper green waste container for pick up. OR (my favorite) use it to start your own compost heap! Stay Green !
