I make tea breads, lots of them! Many people will look at the ingredient list and ask "where's the tea?" or, "is it made with tea?" Tea breads are not made with tea, the name is from England where they are often served at teatime. Here in the US, they are often called quick breads. I love them. They are great with my morning coffee, a quick snack or light dessert. They hold well in the fridge and freeze wonderfully. For a fancy snack, try spreading a little cream cheese on the slices and serve with iced tea for a delightful summer snack.
